**Position Summary**

Join Aureus Solutions as a **Industrial Wastewater Operator** and become a key player in our esteemed water and wastewater firm. With a rich 20-year history, Aureus excels in managing complex water and wastewater challenges for various organizations in a variety of areas, including sampling, operations, consulting, troubleshooting and training. This role offers the chance to be part of a vibrant team with a primary focus on operating an industrial wastewater treatment system, as well as a secondary role of supporting in our other water and wastewater consulting projects - a true hybrid role.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Ensure daily operation aligns with performance standards and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor, report, and manage plant performance.
- Flexibility in your work schedule, with the opportunity for some call-in work.
- Completion of Grade 12 Diploma; or GED
- Related Post-Secondary education in water and/or wastewater treatment, plumbing, mechanical, electrical or an instrumentation would be an asset
- Water/wastewater provincial license would be an asset
- Excellent communication skills, both written and orally
- Ability to work independently with off-site supervision
- Ability to lift over 20 kgs
- Ability to work cooperatively with others and in a team environment
- Satisfactory Criminal Background Check.
