We have built connections with key opinion leaders who are already using the Globe System and are helping to tell our story.
As a part of our IT team, reporting to IT Manager, your role will be implementing, monitoring, and continuously enhancing our networking cybersecurity measures as well as maintaining network performance and identifying opportunities for optimization.
**What you'll be doing**
As **an IT Network System Administrator, **your primary function is to provide s design, implementation, integration, and oversight of the organizations cloud-based security solutions and systems, with an emphasis on securely facilitating business operations.
Key accountabilities include, but aren't limited to:
- Design, implement, and maintain Network/Server/VOIP infrastructure
- Implement and enforce security protocols, policies and access controls to protect against unauthorized access and data breaches
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network and system configurations, procedures, and user guides
- Monitor performance, identify issues, and resolve them in a timely manner
- Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware and software issues
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to implement new services/technology

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5 to 10 years of proven experience as a Network/System Administrator or similar role.
- Proficiency with network protocols, technologies, and topologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Experience with network management and monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, Nagios, SolarWinds)
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and tools.
- Certifications like CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or Cisco CCNA are a plus.
- Collaborative and adaptable.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with experience in stakeholder management.
**Compensation**
- $87,000 - 116,000 (CAD Annually)
