**ROLE OVERVIEW**

We are partnering with our client in search of a creative, technical and process-driven Customer and Sales Coordinator who will prepare quote requirements and follow through on Purchase orders.

**POSITION FOCUS**

The Customer and Sales Coordinator will be responsible for:

- Review customers’ inquiry and specifications.
- Prepare quote requirements - product selection/ref drawing, cost, quote format for review and approval.
- Send quotes and correspond with customer.
- Participate in conference calls and customer meetings.
- Release purchase requisitions.
- Liaison between customers and team. Coordinate with team members to ensure project requirements are completed accurately and project schedules are maintained. Assist where needed to ensure smooth project execution.
- After receipt of Purchase Order:

- Review order/contract requirements and customer specifications to ensure compliance with quote, industry standards and applicable regulatory requirements. Resolve any discrepancies.
- Enter orders in ERP and send order acknowledgements to customers.
- Prepare and release engineering requisitions.
- Review drawings to specifications and submit to customer. Record all correspondence.

**Requirements**:

- Technical school graduate - mechanical engineering technologist at a minimum.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in manufacturing/industrial field is required.
- Experience with mechanical design and engineering project management is required.
- ASME, ASTM, API, and QC industry standards will be considered an asset.
- Experience with pressure vessel design, rotating equipment (pumps and compressors) and manufacturing will be considered an asset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work within a team environment.
- Well organized and able to prioritize tasks.
- Proven self-starter with strong work ethic, high energy, and positive, can-do attitude.
- Commitment to customer service.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
