**JOIN OUR TEAM**

We are looking for a motivated Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Finance team

**POSITION FUNCTION**:

- Process accounts payable and expense reimbursement in compliance with organization policies and procedures
- Production and distribution of cheques and EFTs
- Setup vendor codes and maintain vendor payment information
- Investigate and resolve accounts payable discrepancies
- Respond to staff and vendor inquires related to disbursements
- Other duties, as assigned by the Accounting Manager

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Two years of related accounts payables or accounting experience
- Completion of secondary school and completion of one-year payroll program or equivalent experience
- Experience with Sage 300 or similar software is an asset
- Proficient in MS Office products, particularly Excel
- Good verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills
- Effective organization abilities, attention to detail, take initiative, ability to multitask and tactful patient approach
- Experience working in a non-profit and multicultural environment is an asset
- Sitting, standing, bending, and ability to lift 10 kg

A competitive benefits package is provided with contracts of at least 1 year in length and which offer a minimum of 17.5 hours of work per week.
