Port Hope, Canada All About Communication Full time

All About Communication is hiring a permanent part-time or full-time CDA to fill 1-2 positions within the Entry to School program in Port Hope, ON.

This is an in-person position with the OAP Entry to School Program. It will consist of:

- 6 months of in-person services with Autistic children between the ages of 4 and 6 in a developmental play-based program
- All training to deliver programming will be provided.
- Supervision by SLPs will be provided
- The other 6 months will include preparing materials for the ETS program, providing therapy to your own caseload, possible administrative duties, possible future group programming, and assisting SLP with transition of students to their home schools.

- **Qualifications**:

- Communicative Disorders Assistant post-graduate diploma
- Membership with CDAAC
- Training in play-based approaches to Autism
- Training or understanding of neurodiverse therapy practices
- **Requirements**:

- Minimum of $2,000,000 in personal liability insurance (reimbursed by All About Communication)
- Reliable transportation to one of the two locations
- Minimum of 2 years experience with Autistic Children
- Fully vaccinated against Covid-19 with a booster when eligible to receive it (proof of vaccination required)
- First-Aid and CPR certificates
- Crisis intervention program certificates would be an asset.

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
