**Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Coordinator, Planning, Admissions & Enrolment - the School Support Specialist will:
Provide direction on Policies, Admissions, Enrolment Registers and OSR Guidelines.

Support Curriculum Services Team and Secondary Guidance Teams regarding A&E requirements, scheduling, assessment and reporting and ONSIS submissions.

Complete the Board verification, validation & sign-off of OnSIS Reports.

Review, analysis, and validation of submission of Ministry and other educational reports.

Review and collaboration of student specialized programming and records related to funding including but not limited to Continuing Education, ESL, ELD, Spec-Ed, international and exchange students.

Analysis and follow-up regarding student consecutive absence records.

Assist and support the development of policies and procedures, guidelines and forms.

Support departments and school offices with records and document management.

School Office reviews for compliance to Ministry and Board policies and procedures.

Board International Student Admissions Officer.

Active member of the Provincial systems user groups and Ontario Association of School Business Officials groups.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

Completion of a three-year community college diploma, specific to Business or Office Administration or other related discipline.

Minimum three years previous related work experience.

Excellent analytical, statistical and problem solving skills

Demonstrated communication and presentation skills to deliver training to internal stakeholders

Ability to work independently under mínimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a diverse team

Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle as travel may be required occasionally.
