SHIPPING COORDINATOR

Background:
Description:
As the Shipping Coordinator, you will report to Alera’s General Manager. Your mission will be to meet the high expectations that clients have come to expect from the Alera. With your hardworking and positive attitude, you will: manage the prompt shipment of all client orders, manage inventory levels & support client services.

Responsibilities:
▪ Manage daily client orders through an online ordering system
▪ Pick and pack all client orders
▪ Ship client orders using the UPS interface
▪ Perform monthly physical inventory counts and update inventory tracking documents
▪ Coordinate incoming and outgoing freight
▪ Provide client order details to client services when requested
▪ Verify shipments prior to execution
▪ Manage international third party fulfillment shipments
▪ Create internal processes to achieve higher efficiencies
▪ Coordinate outgoing freight to major pharmacy chains across Canada
▪ Ensure a clean & organized work environment in the warehouse & packing area
▪ Other office maintenance tasks as required

**Requirements**:
▪ Prior relevant work experience a plus
▪ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (word, excel)
▪ Proven track record of being reliable and on-time
▪ Strong understanding of the importance of timely shipments
▪ Ability to communicate with clients to provide shipping information
▪ Ability to communicate with vendors to order shipping supplies
▪ Must be a self-starter and be able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
▪ Attention to detail when packing client orders
