Home Coffee Solutions is looking for a Coffee Tech and Product Specialist to assist our customers with great purchasing decisions and be the go to person to help with post purchase support.

HCS is one of Canada’s largest and fastest-growing coffee Equipment and Coffee/Tea retailers, with an office and showroom location. We’re looking for a new team member who loves coffee, is personable, reliable, and someone who is excited to learn about and represent the world of third-wave specialty coffee.

This role will be involved with the day-to-day operations of our e-commerce and retail location - assisting with customer inquiries, post purchase tech support and orders both on the phone and in person.

**Job Overview**

As a Customer Service and Product Specialist at Home Coffee Solutions, you will be an integral part of our customer support team, responsible for providing top-notch support to our valued clients. Your primary focus will be to assist customers with their inquiries, provide product information, resolve issues, and ensure a delightful shopping experience. You will be an expert in our products, coffee brewing techniques, and all things related to the coffee world.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide product recommendations, coffee brewing tips, and detailed information about our merchandise.
- Process and manage customer orders, refunds, and exchanges promptly and accurately.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer concerns effectively.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay updated with new coffee trends and product releases.
- Assist in creating and updating customer support documentation and knowledge base articles.
- Strive to meet and exceed individual and team performance targets.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in an e-commerce setting.
- Proven track record of effectively closing tickets and resolving customer inquiries to satisfaction.
- Ability to handle customer support over the phone with excellent communication and active listening skills.
- Passion for coffee and knowledge of different coffee varieties, brewing methods, and coffee-related accessories is a definite asset.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in order processing.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Tech-savvy and proficient in using customer support tools and systems.

**Nice-to-haves / Assets**
- Experience with manual and semi-automatic coffee makers
- Comfortable presenting in front of people
- Prior work experience in a customer service-based role
- Prior experience with the Shopify e-commerce platform
- Bilingual (English & French)

**Salary**: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
