Toronto, Canada Cyber-Seniors:Connecting Generations Inc. Full time

**About Us**

Cyber-Seniors is a non-profit organization that provides tech-training for senior citizens using an intergenerational volunteer model. Students (high school, university, and college) and tech savvy individuals of all ages are trained to become technology mentors. Older adults are provided with tech-training in both group and individual sessions that are supervised by our expert technology instructors and volunteers. The results are enriched intergenerational communities that keep people of all ages socially connected and engaged. Participants in the program find a welcoming intergenerational community that increases their well-being and offers them opportunities to engage while embracing technology.
**Our Programs**
Cyber-Seniors’ service includes a phone-in tech-help line, one-on-one tech-support and training, group tech-training webinars and online social and health/wellness programs. In addition, Cyber-Seniors provides custom training programs for seniors who are first-time users receiving community-sponsored tablets or laptops, as well as training for senior volunteers who wish to continue their volunteer work virtually. Seniors can connect directly to Cyber-Seniors free online services or organizations can partner with Cyber-Seniors to set up custom training and programming to meet the specific needs of their members/residents/volunteers/etc.

**Cyber-Seniors Social Media Manager Position**

**Responsibilities**:

- Follow and maintain a social media strategy
- Manage multiple social media channels
- Create goal-oriented content to roll out to the social media channels consistently month to month, both in content and graphics
- Manage the inbound communication to social media accounts
- Occasionally execute on outbound communication
- Bring innovation to the table within the existing function
- Manage and increase social media organic growth

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary school degree or diploma
- 2 years relevant work experience
- Excellent creativity and communication instincts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong basic foundation using computer hardware and software, especially graphic design and social media content publishing online utilities
- Results focused
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Fully equipped home office
- Experience with Google Analytics an asset
- Ability to speak and write Spanish and/or French is an asset
**Salary**:
Will be commensurate with experience and other qualifications.

**Location**:
This position is virtual.

**Salary**: $13.00-$28.00 per hour
