**About The Blumz**

House of fine jewelry and piercings, The Blumz goes beyond being a traditional jewelry store, offering a truly unique experience complete with curated piercings and permanent bracelet welding using a selection of fine jewelry from the world’s finest brands. The Blumz dedicates itself to the meaningful creation of each jewelry designer featured in its flagship store in downtown Toronto, intending to help each individual express their unique style through their jewelry.

**About the Role**

**Duties**:

- Be the voice of The Blumz across all social media platforms
- Develop and manage The Blumz’s social media calendar and brand strategy to grow The Blumz’s brand presence and reach across all social media channels
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to strategically plan, manage, and execute the social content calendar by developing content concepts from ideas to completion
- Coordinate and engage with instructors and The Blumz community to create content, including videos, reels, and photoshoots
- Identify industry trends and best practices by monitoring competitors, influencers, and other social media leaders to develop ideas and proactively manage The Blumz’s social media strategy
- Build relationships with key influencers, community members, and brand partners to increase awareness and engagement, and drive revenues
- Oversee community management across all channels, including engaging with our audience and responding to questions, comments, reviews, and other opportunities with speed and judgment
- Work and coordinate with brand partners, including organizing community events, activations, and social collaborations
- Measure and report on relevant weekly, monthly, and quarterly social media metrics, including recommendations to shift on strategy when required
- Administrative support, including but not limited to team onboarding, data entry, and marketing operations
- Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily (e.g., text, photos, videos) across various social media platforms
- Monitor social media channels for customer inquiries and respond in a timely manner
- Create and manage newsletters

**Requirements**:

- Post-secondary diploma/degree in marketing, social media, digital marketing, or a related field.d
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager with significant achievements, such as high video views and a large follower count.
- Extensive experience with social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Threads, TikTok, and LinkedIn
- Extensive experience with SEO, paid social advertising (e.g. Meta Business Suite) and digital marketing best practices
- Thorough understanding of social media metrics and reporting tools
- Understanding of basic HTML, social media publishing tools, photo editing and blog publishing
- Experience in graphic design, specifically with the Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Canva
- Photography and videography skills
- Customer service oriented - passionate about problem-solving and helping our community
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including copywriting and creative writing
- Detail-oriented with a sharp eye for design
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Ability to understand, interpret, and transform complex ideas and information into easy-to-understand, customer-centric marketing and communications
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, with flexibility to adapt quickly to meet the needs of the business
- Comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics, and using data to drive actionable insights
- Interest in piercings and tattoos, beauty, and luxury brands
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify and digital marketing strategies
