**Job Summary**:
The Specialist, Brand and Advertising is responsible for developing and executing smaller scale creative advertising plans that align to the overall Marketing Strategy and contribute to the creative development and production of integrated brand and advertising campaigns. The role manages and develops brand assets in line with strategy and provides guardianship for product, category and corporate brands working with internal creative teams and external stakeholders, including design, brand and advertising agencies. The Specialist, Brand and Advertising also provides administrative support to the Brand and Advertising team as required.
**Key Accountabilities**:
- Develops and implements smaller scale creative advertising plans and supports brand guardianship for BCLC’s portfolio of product, category and corporate brands.
- Leads and supports the creative development and production of small to medium scope integrated marketing and advertising campaigns including traditional and digital media as required (on time and on budget). Works with internal creative teams and external stakeholders including design, brand and advertising agencies.
- Supports the development of brand identities and governance framework for all enterprise brands. Works with the Brand and Advertising team and brand agencies to update and develop brand guidelines (e.g. brand books, photography style, branded templates, graphic standards etc.)
- Proactively manages and administrates brand assets e.g. font licensing, image usage, photography rights etc. with internal teams such as legal and procurement.
- Monitors and reports on campaign effectiveness, establishing KPI's and sharing with the broader marketing team. Ensures all campaigns are delivered on time and on budget and adhere to the correct advertising standards and guidelines.
- Proactively builds, develops, and maintains strong working relationships with internal departments, business partners, external agencies, regulatory and government bodies.
- Interprets and applies corporate standards, policies and procedures to marketing programs, advertising and brand campaigns.
- Monitors industry trends and best practices to develop new creative advertising approaches and assists in the development of policy and procedures.
**Minimum Required Qualifications**:
**Education and Experience**
- Degree or diploma in a marketing or business discipline;
- 3-5 years experience in marketing, branding and/or advertising discipline;
- Experience or familiarity with Advertising Agencies, brand or advertising campaign production is an asset;
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
**Technical Requirements**
- Demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of strategic marketing, brand and advertising plans;
- Solid knowledge of principles, concepts, practices, techniques and tools in the areas of marketing, advertising and program manage
