This Administrator, Fleet oversees and administers the Operations Compliance requirements. The Administrator, Fleet is responsible for the management of schedules, the Fuel, Repair & Maintenance documentation and the NSC compliance file management. They will manage the process of fleet onboarding and supporting operations in setting up new Drivers and informing internal stakeholders as well as support operations in fleet vendor management and strategy. The Administrator, Fleet will track information to comply with NSC standards, commercial permits and day to day fleet administration reporting data to operations. They will also be involved in program development, internal customer service, quality, reliability, and supporting and filing data to support National Safety Code (NSC) requirements.

**POSITION DETAILS**
- Must be local to Fort Saskatchewan
**CORE ACCOUNTABILTIES**
- Assist in the administration and coordination of the organization's fleet of motor vehicles and equipment
- Ensure compliance with government rules and regulations and files paperwork in support of this compliance as needed
- Support field locations with permit requirements
- Review employee driver logs to ensure accuracy and upload for file management
- Monitor and maintain databases to ensure accuracy and efficiencies are met
- Establish and manage formal fleet onboarding process, supporting operations through the execution of this process and informing all stakeholders on new fleet requirements
- Support operations in fleet vendor management and strategy including but not limited to implementation of contracts
- Keep offices informed of new and changing policies
- Log Auditing: E-Log conflicts, unidentified logs and uncertified logs. Take corrective action with drivers to prevent being in violation of the regulations. Document all training and corrective action
- Investigate Telematic data: Support the implementation, roll out and ongoing review all telematic data for at risk behavior
- Keep detailed information of assets in a central database and oversee all aspects of the Repair & Maintenance Program
- Ensure Driver records are up to date and current
- Create, Review and upload required driver and vehicle file information
- Internal Auditing including but not limited too; NSC standards
- Prepare and proofread documentation such as reports, schedules, correspondence, action lists, manuals, etc., if required
- Schedule and arrange meetings and travel when required (travel may be required for training purposes)
- Cultivate and sustain a positive culture, quality performance, safe environment, and a positive, professional driver experience
- Remain current on industry changes relating to fleet management
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Education**
- Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree (e.g. business administration, commerce) preferred
- NSC related courses (Logbook auditing, Safety Officer NSC Compliance)
**Experience**
- A minimum of three years administrative experience
- NSC experience preferred
- Strong aptitude for all aspects of Provincial fleet operations. Knowledge of insurance practices and risk management

- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment accommodating all levels of corporate operations and management. Appreciation of confidential information is required.
