**The Role**:
As the Buying Coordinator, your main responsibilities for this role include supporting the Buyers with all procurement-related tasks and keeping track of market trends. Most importantly, you will be responsible for ensuring that we are stocked with premium products for our customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Item creation at the beginning of the season, and item management thereafter.
- PO creation and management, often liaising with brands to ensure on time delivery.
- Work with shipping providers to investigate delays.
- Liaise with stores to manage PO issues.
- Monitors product releases for on time delivery and communicates this to the marketing team.
- Assist the buyers with anything required to prepare and deliver a seasonal buy.
- Works closely with marketing and digital merchandising to ensure on time delivery of the seasonal buy and communicates promptly when there is a delay.
- Recap product performance in preparation for JD Sports to communicate internally and externally
- Communicate late or cancelled purchase orders to buying, planning and allocations.
- Manage back ordered purchases.
- Help merchandising department with ad-hoc projects or analysis as needed.

Experience
- 2-3 years in retail or ecommerce store sales.
- Experience working in an office is an asset, but not required.
- Post-secondary education related to fashion or fashion marketing.
- Strong communication skills: oral, visual, written.
- Experience using excel, including pivot tables is essential.
- Jesta experience is an asset.
