Human Resources Coordinator

Vintage and Niagara's Finest Hotels are currently seeking a **temporary** Human Resources Coordinator to join our growing team
This is an excellent opportunity that offers a chance to gain exposure to a wide variety of Human Resources functions.
**What you'll be doing**:
- Lead, execute & participate in the full recruitment cycle and create strategies to support staffing needs
- Develop relationships & liaison with community partners, participating in job fairs and networking events
- Work closely with department managers to understand current and future departmental staffing requirements and provide reporting on a weekly, monthly basis
- Assist with Labour Turnover Report and Exit Interviews upon voluntary departures
- Develop and execute strategies for building Lais Hotel Properties Limited as an Employer of Choice
- Act as a brand ambassador for our Team Members through Social Media
- Create and solicit content for the Company’s Careers Social Media pages, ensuring weekly posts promoting our Team and the Company culture
- Assists with facilitating Orientation for all new Team Members creating an engaging and positive work experience.
- Facilitates Service First Culture training for new and existing Team Members providing Team Members with an interactive, engaging, and motivating training experience.
- Provide recruitment training for new Supervisors/Managers outlining recruitment practices, human rights, recruitment processes and required documentation.
- Coordinates social events to enhance Team Member morale, satisfaction, and commitment.
- Complies reports through ADP system as needed.
- Assists the department with administrative work as required.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Provides administrative support to the Human Resources Department.
**What you'll bring to the team**:
- Comfortable working on a contract basis
- Ability to commute to Niagara on the Lake and Jordan Station as needed.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Comfortability with public speaking.
- Previous Human Resources experience an asset.
- CHRP designation an asset.
- Flexibility to attend company events, orientations and training sessions outside of regular office hours as needed.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
**Salary**: $50,000.00 per year
