Reports to:
Human Resources Manager

Responsibilities

· Support supervisors with facility & corporate training initiatives.

· Provide support for transfers, layoffs, disciplinary actions, payroll, and employee relations related matters.

· Assist with drafting and preparing employment contracts, offers, agreements, memorandums, and other correspondence as required.

· Provide support and training assistance to supervisors and employees on Human Resources processes and policies.

· Respond to employee inquiries and concerns and take steps to resolve issues.

· Review and update policies and procedures.

· Provide HR administrative support customer and recertification audits.

· Coordinate employee engagement programs such as team-building days, charity events, staff events and wellness activities and/or topics.

· Compliance with all rules & policies regarding health safety, occupational safety, environmental safety, food safety, legal regulations, company requirements, etc.

· Compliance with the Company's Integrated Management Systems which includes, but is not limited to Production, Quality, Food Safety & GMP.

· Other duties as assigned.

Profile

· University degree or College diploma in Human Resources or related field

· 1+ years of experience in similar role

· Prior experience in manufacturing, warehouse, logistics company is an asset

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Attention to detail

· Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills

· Interpersonal skills to collaborate with varying departments

· Proficient using MS Office

· Ability to maintain discretion & confidentiality

· NB:
Successful candidates will be required to provide photo ID, banking details, a valid SIN number, and (if applicable) a valid work permit
