Canadian HR Service Representative working 100% remote. Responsible for answering and supporting associates as well as Managers with personal, payroll and benefits inquiries for Canada. Specializing in Canadian legislation by province.
- Responsibilities- Answer benefit and payroll questions
- Assist and provide functional support to associates and managers calling HR Direct to complete Personal data, Job data and Benefit-related transactions in HR Access, Kronos and MyTalent.
- Center of excellence for Canadian Benefits, Payroll and legislation by province.
- Managing the relationship with the vendors to ensure the accuracy of the data by analyzing reports and coordinating the corrections on the vendor sites
- Analyze data in Oracle HCM, Kronos, MyTalent systems and other reporting as needed.
- assist associates and managers with transactions within Employee Self Service (ESS)/Manager Self Service (MSS) in Oracle HCM, Kronos and MyTalent.
- Answer associates benefit questions. Ability to analyze the bi-weekly payroll benefits file and HRIS load errors and partner with vendor for escalation and resolution. Participate as needed in testing on the vendor website.
- Answer associates and managers questions on payroll, including adjustment in payroll along with the ability to research provincial legislative questions concerning payroll.
- Manage the leave of absence for associates including follow up on returns, payment of benefits and partnering with vendors on long term disability cases.
- Understanding and analyzing of Canadian absence plans along with processing any corrections or payouts as needed.
- Manage and fully understand the Record of Employment (ROE) process along with issuing individual ROE as needed.
- Responsible for reconciling and submitting Canadian benefits payment for group benefits, retirement plan and other 3rd party vendors.
- Calculate and process severances based on provincial legislation guidelines, add payments and benefit deductions for payroll processing and partner with vendor for benefits extensions.
- Coordinate with other functional groups as necessary
- Provide excellent customer service to all customers
- Engage Supervisor for issue resolution as needed

- Fluency in English and French Canadian - verbal & written
