We are seeking a highly organized, hands-on and detailed oriented accounts payable and payroll coordinator, who will report to the Director of Finance, to manage the full cycle of accounts payable for the company and assist with the bi-weekly payroll process.

**Overview of your day-to-day**:
Accounts Payable
- Responsible for monitoring the account payable mailbox, circulating incoming invoices for approvals and processing invoices according to company policies.
- Reviewing and coding invoices, uploading invoices, liaising with various departments to determine validity and coding of invoices.
- Preparing payment proposals for weekly payment runs, ensuring completeness and gathering required authorizations for payment release.
- Auditing and processing staff expense reports ensuring alignment with the corporate travel and expense policy.
- Support executives with their expense reports.
- Work with the project team to ensure cost coding is correct.
- Interact with procurement department to correct any Purchase order issues.
- Review account payable Aging report and reconcile vendor statements.
- Ensuring all account payable documentations (policies and procedures) are prepared and well maintained.
- Additional duties as assigned.

Payroll
- Assist with payroll processes for salaried, commissioned, and hourly employees, ensuring timely and accurate compensation for all employees.

**What we’d like you to have**:

- At least 5 years or more of experience in a similar role and management;
- University degree in finance or accounting;

**Qualities and skills**:

- Bilingualism required both orally and in writing (French and English);
- Energetic and team player;
- Good judgment, negotiation skills, research of best practices and continuous improvement.
- Excellent computer knowledge of the Office Suite, with advanced knowledge of Excel (pivot table, vertical searches).
- Asset : Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Nav, or similar software.
