**Department Overview**
- Manage Third Party Business Arrangements through all stages of the TPML, in alignment with relevant frameworks, policies and standards. Vendor Managers are expected to understand and maintain knowledge of Business Arrangement terms (including key Third Party and business segment or corporate function (TD) deliverables). Vendor Managers are also responsible for monitoring, analyzing and reporting on performance of Business Arrangements and identifying and escalating issues where identified in order to mitigate risk. On more strategic, critical and/or complex relationships across multiple business segments or corporate functions, role may also act as the Lead Vendor Manager supporting the Accountable Executive that owns TD's relationship with the Third Party.
- This particular role will be supporting the TD Insurance Life & Health portolio.
The general accountabilities of this role include but are not limited to the following:
- Demonstrated experience of Strategic Sourcing and Third-Party Risk Management practices
- Proactively engage business stakeholders to understand their business strategies and objectives in order to align initiative work to help achieve them
- Foster strong collaborative relationships with internal partners (Strategic Sourcing Group, Third-Party Risk Management, Risk Oversight Functions, Compliance, Cloud Governance Counsel, etc.) and LOBs
- Manage multiple deals simultaneously, often to tight deadlines, while maintaining audit, compliance, Third-Party Risk Management and reporting requirements
- Provide guidance and insight on sourcing best practices and provide counsel to business to ensure supplier arrangements meet all TDBG policy and regulatory requirements while contributing to their long-term business strategies
- Develops, monitors and tracks progress of initiatives throughout engagement lifecycle (KPI's)
- Develops, monitors and maintain reporting dashboards in order to provide valuable reporting insight
- Comply to the new VMO Guideline and maintain Audit ready supporting documentation
- Become a value-add advisor to the business (Intake) by providing insight and recommendation
- Provide regular reporting on the key drivers and KPIs for our TDI engagements (VMO and non-VMO)
- Utilize engagements tracker to provide value add reporting to the business lines
- Support and work towards a shared team/business vision
- Act as a working lead to other project team members and provide some coaching
- Share knowledge and ensure ongoing and timely communication with the team and management
- Supports the team by continuously developing knowledge in own area
- Transfers knowledge and provides guidance as appropriate to support the business objectives of the team and related area
- Participate fully as a member of the team and contribute to a positive work environment that encourages productivity, professionalism and teamwork
- Supports effective on-boarding and off-boarding of resources
- Participate in action planning to address employee survey results
- Adhere to established guidelines of conduct
- Participate in identification of personal development needs and pursue development/career opportunities
**Job Requirements**
EXPERIENCE AND / OR EDUCATION
- Undergraduate/college degree in a related discipline is preferred
- 5+ years of related experience in vendor management, Business Arrangements, Third-Party Management Lifecycle framework/principles, policies and procedures, systems, products/services, product research, assessment & reporting, competitive intelligence, negotiation tactics and/or regulatory requirements
- Strong fluency with the following tools: SAP Ariba, Coupa Risk/Hiperos
- Driven and determined attitude to flawless execution
- Demonstrated influencing, communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Demonstrated stakeholder/relationship management and networking skills
- Ability to lead, plan, implement and evaluate program/project activities to ensure completion of initiatives
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of Risk Management environment, standards and regulations
- Skill in researching, collecting, organizing and analyzing complex or technical data and developing plans to address identified issues/problems
