Job Description Summary:
Reporting into our Vendor Compliance Manager, the primary focus of the Vendor Compliance Analyst role is to support our supply chain strategy and customer experience through managing key vendor relationships with our compliance program. Leveraging data and analytics, driving insights to help us optimize and improve our growing Pet Valu network.

**Responsibilities**:

- Identify non-compliant operations, determine root cause, and assess if a business process change or vendor charge is required.
- Monitors and improves vendor performance, and reports on overall service or business outcome level.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret big data related to Vendor performance, including key metrics, KPIs, and operational trends.
- Utilize various data analysis tools and techniques to identify patterns, outliers, and areas for improvement.
- Partner with vendors, merchants, and inventory planning teams to address process changes and improve vendor performance.
- Use data visualization tools to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Identify non-compliant operations, determine root cause, and assess if a business process change or vendor charge is required.
- Work closely with vendors and cross functional business teams to gather and document business opportunities. Optimizing supply chain productivity and inventory availability to improve the customer experience.
- Ability to work positively with the team and cross-functional partners involved in key projects and/or Pet Valu business.
- Strong planning, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Self-motivated with a focus on driving exceptional results with a profound sense of teamwork and accountability.
- Create/generate reports/dashboards, writing scripts where possible to automate.
- Conducts informal and formal dispute resolution processes.
- Coordinate tasks for projects and other strategic initiatives with business leads.
- Continual evolution and improvement of the vendor compliance program as it develops.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Experience, Education, Certifications
- Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Analytics, Business, Math, Statistics, or related field.
- 1-5 years of experience in a professional environment or business setting, preferably in Compliance and/or Supply Chain.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL to query relational databases.
- Enhanced skills in using and implementing data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Experience with open-source languages such as R, Python is an asset.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Must be able to travel to offices, stores, and distribution centers as required.

Working Conditions
- Flexible hybrid work schedule allowing for work from home, office, and distribution center.
- Able to work in both warehouse and office environments.
- Willing and able to travel up to 10-20% of the time.
