**OVERVIEW**:
The Industry Programs Manager is responsible for the development, planning and execution of industry programming including: FIN Partners, filmmaker development programs, AIFF industry panels and talks, and FIN Kids workshops. The Industry Programs Manager will work with key stakeholders, locally, nationally and internationally, to facilitate programs and initiatives designed to strengthen, promote and diversify the screen-based industry in Atlantic Canada.

**KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY**:

- Track global industry trends, research local and national industry needs, and compile feedback from stakeholders and past attendees.
- Develop AIFF’s industry programming, incorporating trends, needs and feedback.
- Create a comprehensive plan and critical path for FIN Partners and other industry programming.
- Work with the AIFF team to design and deliver marketing materials, partnership activations, and web-forms and databases related to industry programs.
- Oversee the logistics and implementation of AIFF’s industry programming including: FIN Partners, the RBC Script Development Program (or similar), industry panels and talks, and school-based workshops.
- Compile and synthesize feedback, stats and other information for reports and post-event review.
- Maintain the administrative requirements of the role including internal and external communication, databases, tracking sheets, agreements and reports.
- Provide direction and management to contract staff in the Industry Programs department.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Event coordination experience either in the film and television industry or a related field.
- Experience designing professional development or educational programs will be considered an asset.
- Experience mentoring and managing contract staff.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic environment and with a plethora of stakeholders.
- A demonstrated commitment to upholding professional and ethical standards and an articulated understanding of inclusive and anti-racist practices in the arts.
- Proficiency in various computer programs including Excel, Word and Google Drive.
- A passion for independent film will be considered an asset.

**COMPENSATION**:
This position is a full-time role, working out of the office of the AIFF in downtown Halifax. The salary range for a full-time, year-round contract is $40k - $45k / annum. In addition to salary, the festival offers health-benefits, paid vacation, cell phone allowance and professional development opportunities.

**ABOUT AIFF**:
The Atlantic International Film Festival (AIFF) is an eight-day festival featuring screenings of 200+ films; Q&As; receptions, industry events and gatherings. The festival celebrates new and established filmmaking voices from Atlantic Canada and around the world, helping audiences discover new artists, uncover new perspectives and better understand the world through the medium of cinema. The festival presents films that cover a broad range of topics and genres, and is dedicated to presenting and elevating work from creators who are female-identified, BIPOC, 2SLGBTQ+ and Deaf and Disabled. The 43rd AIFF will take place September 14th - 21st, 2023, in downtown Halifax. In addition to the AIFF, the Festival presents numerous programs throughout the year, designed to engage audiences, celebrate filmmakers and promote cinema. Other current programs include: FIN Partners, FIN Kids, FIN Outdoor, RBC’s Script Development Program and CBC’s Reel East Coast.

**ABOUT FIN PARTNERS**:
Canada’s premiere co-production/financing market, FIN Partners presents three days of pre-scheduled, one-to-one meetings, case studies and keynote presentations, intimate roundtable sessions, and networking events. FIN Partners focuses on narrative feature film, series, and digital projects in development from across Canada and the world.
