The Opportunity

Columbia College is looking for **Math **Sessional Instructors **to teach University Transfer Courses on campus.

These part-time sessional positions will** commence in May 2023 and end in August 2023.**

Key Responsibilities

Instructors' primary responsibilities include planning, teaching, marking, and grading the appointed course/s.
- **Master’s degree in Mathematics**
- Online and face-to-face **experience teaching Mathematics** at another post-secondary institution.
- Excellent expertise with Learning Management Systems (Knowledge and experience with Moodle is an asset)
- Demonstrated success in innovative or student-centered teaching techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Experience in teaching a diverse student body.

Salary

For a course with four contact hours and two office hours, an instructor with a Master’s degree will be paid the gross amount of $8,252.78, and an instructor with a Ph.D. will be remunerated the gross amount of $9,211.36.

For a course with eight contact hours and two office hours, an instructor with a Master’s degree will be paid the gross amount of $13,754.63, and an instructor with a Ph.D. will be remunerated the gross amount of $ 15,352.26.

The course compensation is linked to **teaching hours**.
