Overview

Our** **Prevention Services team is looking for a detail-oriented administrative support assistant with good customer service skills to perform a variety of intermediate administrative duties. If you’re a self-starter, service-oriented, and enjoy helping internal and external clients, as well as performing diverse administrative work, consider joining us for this exciting permanent opportunity.

This is a hybrid position where you will work primarily at our Richmond office - at least 3 days/week.

What you'll do

**As an admin support assistant prevention you will**:

- Prepare and transcribe meeting minutes
- Organize and schedule meetings, seminars, out-of-town travel, and accommodations
- Compile, prepare and report on departmental statistics and information such as Quarterly Budget Reports, inspections, and educational presentations
- Create and submit various work orders such as UPRs, IT requests, and purchase orders
- Type a variety of materials such as correspondence, forms, reports, memos, and presentations
- Respond to routine inquiries and correspondence
- Maintain reference material for department
- Receive, sort, and forward mail as required

- Demonstrate attention to detail
- Independently plan and prioritize to meet deadlines

**Your experience and educational background**:

- A minimum of grade 12 education
- Recent, related work experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Use Microsoft Word proficiently
- Type a minimum of 60 words per minute
