Asst. Greenhouse grower

TSC Nursery is a wholesale nursery located in Richmond, British Columbia. We produce several varieties of quality trees, conifers, broadleaved evergreens, woody ornamentals, perennials, ornamental grasses, native plants, and ground covers.
Versatile and competitive, we are a leading supplier of nursery stock to commercial contractors, residential landscapers, retailers, municipal governments, and other nurseries.
We are a local, family-owned and operated nursery with six growing locations and a production area totaling over 65 acres.
This role is for a passionate individual who is interested in cultivating healthy plants and does not mind working outdoors in rain or shine conditions. o 1-2 years of plant production experience in an ornamental nursery or greenhouse setting
o Bachelor of Science/diploma in a related field is an asset
o Pesticide Applicator’s Certificate is an asset
o A valid BC driver’s license
o Monitoring crop moisture levels
o Assisting in preventative facility maintenance
o Data collection and management
o Plant maintenance duties: crop pruning, dumping, fertilizing, irrigation, and other tasks.
o Monitoring for pests and pathogens and reporting any issues to the Grower
