**Job Description**:
**Position Summary**
The Human Resources Associate will be responsible for providing administrative and staffing support to the Talent Acquisition Team, as well as assisting the HR team with administrative, and HR related tasks.
**Organizational Relationship**
This position reports directly to the Manager, Human Resources - Talent Acquisition.
**Accountabilities**
Staffing:
- Under the direction of the Manager, Talent Acquisition, assist in staffing and recruitment efforts such as:
- Scheduling interviews, and managing the interview process.
- Notify applicants of results of selection process, prepare job offers, advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures.
- Input data into recruitment spreadsheets ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Conduct Employee Orientations
- Explaining Employee Benefits
- Perform further background reference investigation, (e.g. prior employment references, transcripts, etc.) to gain adequate information on which to base a selection decision as requested.
- Provide support for job fairs, and employer events throughout Winnipeg
- Assisting with Temp worker management and onboarding
Human Resources:
- Maintain, compile, and distribute Associate Links as required.
- Organize company events
- Assist with new hire onboarding.
- Review Attendance using the HRIS, and issue discipline letters to front line leaders for distribution.
- Responding to HR related queries within the company.
- Maintain and update KCTV ensuring accuracy of all information posted.
- Prepare and administer the company newsletter.
- Act as point of contact for the cafeteria, addressing all concerns brought forth.
- Represent the Human Resources team in a professional manner ensuring adherence to the Standards of Business Conduct, company policies and procedures as well as Health and Safety programs and policies.
- Must adhere to all company and Health & Safety policies as indicated in the Associate Handbook and Standards of Business Conduct Handbook.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned at management’s discretion.

**Qualifications**:
**Education & Experience**
- High School Diploma
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, business, or related field is an asset
- Previous experience working in Human Resources is an asset
- Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
