Evening Security Patrol

**Overview**
Evening Security Patrol staff members conduct campground patrols and infrastructure checks to contribute to the safety of campers. Evening Security Patrol staff members are responsible for parking and registration compliance, attending complaints, informing guests and campers of rules and regulations, and other public safety matters. Staff members also conduct evening building checks, prepare reports, and liaise with other agencies as required.
**Responsibilities**
Ø Provide exceptional customer service
Ø Receive, respond, and follow up with customer complaints
Ø Communicate with other park staff
Ø Prepare reports, administrative tasks, and other duties as required
Ø Monitor after hours phone calls
Ø Learn OHS procedures, worksite policies, and emergency response plans
Ø Patrol campground on foot or in vehicles
Ø Lock and secure buildings and gates
Ø Monitor and respond to alarms and mechanical/maintenance incidents as needed
Ø Liaise with law enforcement officials and other agencies as required
Ø Inform guests of the rules and regulations of the park
**Qualifications**
Required
Ø Valid Class 5 Drivers License
Ø 18+ years of age
Ø Good communication and thinking skills
Desired Assets
Ø Alberta Security Guard License or training
Ø First Aid/CPR
Ø Ability to work independently
Ø Customer service skills
Ø Strong work ethic
Ø Positive attitude
Ø Familiarity of campground operations
**Terms of Employment**
Ø Ability to work evenings with flexible hours, dependant on park capacity, weather, and special events.
Ø Able to provide a criminal record check
Ø Standard First Aid and CPR Level C
Ø Agree to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment as required
**Notes**
Ø There is a wide latitude of flexibility in the hours, schedule, and duties required, to be negotiated.
Ø There is flexibility in working either a continuous on site presence, or a mix of patrols and on call if residing in the local area. Typical service hours are often after 8:30pm for four to six hours in duration, or longer as required.
Interviews will normally be conducted online.

Contract length: 4 months
**Salary**: $20.00-$27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 - 37.5 per week
