**About Us**: Chop Steakhouse and Bar is a premier dining destination in downtown Toronto, known for our exceptional steaks, inviting atmosphere, and outstanding customer service. We are looking to enhance our team with a dedicated and dynamic Event Manager to oversee our private dining and special event operations.

As the Event Manager, you will play a vital role in managing and executing events at our restaurant. You will be responsible for coordinating all event details, ensuring an exceptional guest experience, and maximizing revenue opportunities through private bookings

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan, organize, and execute events, including corporate functions, weddings, and private parties.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing guidance on menu selections, décor, and logistics.
- Oversee all aspects of event operations, from setup to breakdown, ensuring a seamless experience for guests.
- Manage event budgets, negotiate contracts with vendors, and track expenses.
- Work closely with the culinary and service teams to ensure high standards of food and service are maintained.
- Promote the restaurant’s event services through marketing initiatives and networking.
- Handle inquiries and bookings in a timely and professional manner.
- Work alongside FOH Management team to oversee daily restaurant operations

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in event management, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and event management software.
- A passion for excellent customer service and a positive attitude.

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

- Monday to Friday
