The Strategic Sourcing Vice President is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and executing strategic sourcing initiatives throughout North American Bus and Coach (NABC). This experienced professional has a deep understanding of global sourcing, supplier relationship management and cost optimization strategies within advanced manufacturing and will play a pivotal role in shaping and leading a world class supply chain team.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:

- Collaborate and develop with the Purchasing and Materials Management, VP and the EVP of Supply Management on strategic sourcing strategies to optimize supply chain performance.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing strategic sourcing team that fosters a culture of continuous improvement to drive efficiency.
- Cultivate and maintain strong supplier relationships management to build a reliable, cost effective and strong performing supply chain that drives competitive advantage.
- Measure, monitor and report on material cost performance, establish cost reduction targets and strategies and direct the Sourcing team in the execution to drive cost optimization through effective negotiation, contract management and continuous supplier performance evaluation.
- Ensure pricing and data accuracy within Oracle.
- Responsible to ensure all key controls (ICFR Internal Controls) are designed and operating as outlined in the internal controls over financial reporting.
- Leads supplier compliance to NFI Supplier Code of Conduct and NABC compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, regulatory commitments, and ethical sourcing practices.
- Develop and manage budgets for strategic sourcing functions.
- Maintain open communication with internal and external stakeholders providing regular updates on performance, challenges, and opportunities.
- Incorporate sustainable and environmentally responsible practices into procurement strategies.

**WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL**:

- Post secondary education in business with emphasis on Supply Management or Engineering and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 10 years proven Senior Management leadership experience.
- A strong understanding and experience with supply chain processes in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in Supplier Relationship Management, negotiations and Supply agreements.
- Financial Acumen commensurate with Leading Procurement.
- Sound negotiation skills and ability to meet business goals related to supply chain costs.
- Ability to effectively lead and mentor a team.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and Smartphone technology.
- Align with company’s mission, vision, and values.
- Ability to travel.
