**The Opportunity**:
Red River Co-op is recruiting for the new position of **Energy Operations Analyst**, working out of our Home Office in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This position reports to the Vice-President, Energy Operations. The **Energy Operations Analyst** adds value to our Co-operative by supporting the growth, profitability and member experience offering of the Co-operative energy division. This will be achieved by delivering key reporting to division leadership, providing effective oversight of core programs, and maintaining market insights enabling effective strategy decisions.

Essential responsibilities of the position include the following:

- Complete core reporting for the energy division, which may include the design, completion, communication, analysis and presentation of insights to members of the Red River Co-op energy division leadership. Examples of reporting include financial analysis, customer experience trends, location-based expense review, and delivery vehicle efficiency and repair analysis.
- Oversee key operational programs, ensuring their timely execution, compliance, and operation within budget. Examples of such programs include customer experience program, drive-off and fuel mix incident reporting, division project tracking and status updates.
- Manage special projects, such as annual insurance validations for agency operators, validation of compliance with new programs and policies, and community engagement partnerships.
- Engage with members regarding damage incidents and insurance claims.
- Gather and analyze competitor and market intelligence.

**About You**:
To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and competencies:

- An undergraduate degree with a focus in business administration or commerce.
- Operations management experience in a multi-unit environment.
- A proficiency in designing, completing, and presenting reports on complex information.
- Previous experience managing projects.
- Intermediate to expert skill in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills.

The role includes a small travel component within Red River Co-op’s trading area - currently Manitoba and Northwest Ontario. Individuals must have their own vehicle and the willingness to travel within the region as required. Travel will not exceed 15% of the individual’s work hours over the calendar year.
