**GroupStrength Benefits Direct**, a valued partner of GroupHEALTH, is currently looking for an **Analyst** to join their team in **Winnipeg, MB**. Our Analyst Team supports the Sales Representatives by reviewing, analyzing and underwriting new business prospects, including assistance with sales strategies and new group implementation.

**Outcomes**
- Take the lead on account analysis and file review
- Communicate with Sales Reps and Management regarding prospect files
- Reduce overall “file analysis” time so that deals can be pitched sooner
- Increase accuracy of info submitted in Underwriting process
- Create Client Facing Materials

In addition to joining a passionate and high energy team that is focused on shaking up an old and traditional industry, your **Key Responsibilities** will include:

- Check for completeness of prospect info received, identify what is missing and communicating with Sales Reps.
- Organize data in online filing system and CRM system
- Conduct financial analysis of each account
- Prepare new business quotes and cost analysis/summaries
- Prepare client facing documents (Plan Comp. / Rate Comp. / Proposal doc)
- Develop closing strategies to be shared with Sales Rep
- Keep CRM up to date with new information as discovered

**Education & Experience**
- University or College Degree, preferably concentrated in Economics
- Benefits experience is an asset
- Intelligence and detail focus
- Organizational skills, ability to handle many files at once
- Positive attitude, willing to learn and grow
