**We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Analyst, who, under the general direction of the Federal Regulatory Officer, will**
**be responsible for defining and quantifying the implications of various regulatory matters related to inter-connecting**
**natural gas pipelines and storage operators including strategic, financial and/or operational impacts on Centra Gas**
**Manitoba Inc. (Centra) and its customers.**
This includes monitoring, analyzing, interpreting, providing recommendations and advocating in industry discussions, negotiations
and as part of a hearing team to advance the position of the Corporation related to regulatory matters under the auspices of the
Canada Energy Regulator (CER) and the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).
**_ Responsibilities:_**
- Maintains a comprehensive knowledge of the tolls, tariffs, and general terms and conditions of service of the various pipelines
and storage operators with which Centra has contracts. Analyzes and reports on the impacts (strategic, financial and/or
operational) of proposed changes to these service attributes and helps formulate Corporate positions on same.
- Maintains a comprehensive understanding of Centra's portfolio of gas supply, transportation and storage arrangements and
the inter-relationship between gas costs and service attributes. At present, the major pipelines and storage operators are TC
Energy's Canadian Mainline and the NOVA Gas Transmission Limited (NGTL) system; Great Lakes Gas Transmission; and
ANR Pipeline.
- Actively participates in industry forums such as meetings, settlement negotiations and hearings. Presents and advocates the
Company's position in such forums in a clear, concise and convincing manner (written and oral communication).
- Develops and maintains collaborative working relationships with ex-provincial companies and organizations (e.g., government
agencies, industry associations, and gas market counterparties) in the process of negotiating settlements and/or litigating
regulatory matters.
methodologies and practices, toll design, tariff language, terms and conditions, and legal positions that are advanced. These
regulatory proceedings and decisions are voluminous, can extend over a period of months or years, are detailed and complex
and are written from a financial, economic and/or legal perspective.
- Liaises with internal or external legal counsel and potentially external consultants in the preparation of routine submissions to
the CER and FERC, and throughout Corporate interventions in CER and FERC matters (including the preparation of
information requests, evidence, responses to information requests, cross-examination, testimony and argument). Supports
witnesses at these proceedings and provides written summaries of the Company's participation.
- Monitors and evaluates developments at the CER, FERC and/or other Government agencies in the U.S. and Canada (e.g.,
the U.S. Dept. of Energy), including generic and company-specific issues and proceedings. Reports on these developments
and provides input on the appropriate level of Corporate involvement.

**_ Qualifications:_**
- A four-year degree in Commerce, Business Administration or a related discipline plus six years of related work experience in
the energy industry.
OR
- A recognized professional Accounting designation (CPA) with a minimum of five years of related work experience in the
energy industry.
- Possess a high degree of initiative, reflected in the ability to work independently and with little supervision.
- Posses comprehensive knowledge of financial, cost and regulatory accounting principles; and cost allocation principles.
- Proven ability to analyze complex issues related to regulatory requirements, systems, and processes.
- Proven interpersonal skills and an ability to establish and maintain successful working relationships with industry counterparts.
