presently seeking a** Commercial Maintenance Manager**

Reporting to the Manager of Quality Assurance and Process Improvement, the Commercial Maintenance
Manager will have the opportunity oversee and lead with the day-to-day operations and maintenance at our
Commercial portfolio in Halifax Regional Municipality. They will ensure the presentation of the property is
upheld in accordance with company standards. They will effectively manage various tasks simultaneously in an
often-high paced environment.

**As the Maintenance Manager, you’ll get to**:

- Providing maintenance leadership and guidance to maintenance team members, ensuring tasks are
- properly prioritized and completed;
- Effectively communicating with maintenance team members on building issues, safety awareness and
- recommendations for improvement;
- Responding to internal and guest related work orders
- Maintaining the condition of the buildings and tenant spaces, performing repairs and arranging for
- trades to perform other repairs, supervising such work as appropriate;
- Liaising with external service providers present in the building to ensure tasks are performed in
- accordance with Employer standards;
- Liaising with the Property Management and the building controls team with respect to outstanding
- issues, procedures and practices at the site;
- Complying with policies and procedures for the operation of the building as in place from time to time
- Participate in the Employer’s Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety, Life Safety and Risk
- Management programs as required
- Participate and complete safety / job related training as required

**What we’re looking for**:

- University degree or technical diploma with a focus in Maintenance.
- Previous Commercial Maintenance Manager experience is considered an asset.
- Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail
- Effective organizational and time management skills with a focus on achieving deadline.
