Client Service Representative - (1 temporary part-time until February 2025)

The Middlesex-London Health Unit has an exciting opportunity for a temporary part-time Client
Service Representative, this position is assigned to the Privacy, Risk and Client Relations team
in the Corporate Services division located at Citi Plaza in London ON and in the Shops on
Sydenham location in Strathroy, ON.
This position is intended for backup coverage and will be scheduled a minimum of 3
hours per week, and a maximum of 28 hours per week. Flexible work hours are required.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**: Reporting to the Manager, Privacy, Risk and Client Relations (PRCR),
- Operate switch board, schedule appointments and meetings and complete online registrations;
- Assist with inquiries from the public in person and by phone, which may include conducting active screening for all MLHU clients and visitors using the MLHU active screening tool and wearing personal protective equipment during a pandemic when appropriate if physical distancing is not feasible;
- Directing calls from the public to the appropriate area in the Health Unit when questions require triage to a tier two level;
- Enter data into databases, run routine reports, file documents, reconcile client summary reports, and other record keeping;
- Order necessary supplies, maintain inventories, resources, mailing lists and key contacts;
- Maintain data relevant to budgets, handle program-relevant monies and receipts, and prepare summary reports;
- Perform program-based invoicing and reports to the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care;
- Prepare statistical reports;
- Develop and maintain documents, resources, procedures and forms, and;
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Post-secondary program in administrative studies of at least one year.
- Demonstrated ability to enter data into databases with a high level of accuracy and speed.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills in order to provide excellent client service and work effectively with team members.
- Ability to do self-directed work and to work well with team members.
- Ability to take initiative, prioritize work and balance competing work demands.
- Ability to work flexible hours (evening shifts may be required)
- Ability to work in Citi Plaza London or Strathroy office
- Strong knowledge of all the services provided at the health unit.
- Experience with vulnerable populations and supporting client needs related to Public Health.
- Demonstrated commitment to contributing to a positive workplace environment
- Communication proficiency at the intermediate level (written and verbal) in French and/or any other language would be considered an asset.

The Hourly wage for this position ranges from $26.10 to $32.62 based on qualifications and experience.
