Working as part of an Agile team helping to transform our health & dental claims' experience to be the customer and digital leader within our industry. As a Business Rules Configuration Specialist, you have a natural analytical ability and are technically inclined. You love helping come up with creative solutions. You will work within a cross-functional team of Analysts, Product Owners, and business partners.

**Responsibilities**
- Troubleshoot claim and system issues discovered during testing or resulting from new requirements
- Conduct business and customer impact analysis
- Collaborate with multiple internal partners and our third-party vendor team members
- Research and conduct analysis in support of continuous improvement
- Use data to support proposed solutions
- Facilitate the implementation of changes and enhancements in production environments
- Develop clear documentation in JIRA and Confluence in support of our agile methodologies and audit requirements
- Communicate complex business rules in plain language ensuring partners understand the rules, rule attributes and their impact

**What we are looking for**
- Previous Group Benefits experience and knowledge is an asset; specifically, knowledge of how benefits are insured and adjudicated
- Proficiency in JavaScript is preferred
- Adept at learning new software, systems, and concepts quickly
- Motivated, self-starter who works and learns independently
- Detail oriented
- Able to comprehend the intersection of business and system processes
- Effective facilitator with drive to consistently deliver incremental of business value
- Skilled at decomposing business needs into small increments (e.g., stories) and supporting an iterative and incremental delivery model
