**About the opportunity**

You will be resourceful and demonstrate excellent leadership and problem solving skills. The Residential Services Manager reports to the Director of Residential Services and works closely with managers and direct reports.

The Residential Services Manager oversees and directs Staffed Residential Services which includes 4 residential homes located in Tsawwassen, Ladner, and Surrey as well as the Community Living Program to ensure the provision of quality to the individuals in these programs. This Manager’s role is intrinsic in shaping DCLS’ culture through the delivery of concepts of person centred approaches and personal life planning and ensuring that this new learning is applied. The organization depends on this role to ensure that all Staffed Residences and Supported Living services and follow Society policy and procedures, Licensing, Accreditation and Industry Best Practice and Standards.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Manages the performance of direct reports through providing development opportunities, feedback, and mentoring and addressing performance issues. Direct Inspection at all staffed residential sites required.
- Manage resources and deliver on key reporting requirements for all that Staffed Residential and Supported Living Services are accountable for (includes Industry, Licensing and Accreditation Standards).
- Provide strategic input and implement operational initiatives to improve organizational performance and capacity.
- Maintain and monitor expenditures, payroll, budgets, and staffing schedules for all respective programs and services.
- Ensure all complaints, critical incidents and crises are resolved in a manner that respects both stakeholders and the organization.

**Salary**: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
