**Job Summary**:
Educators Financial Group is dedicated to providing financial products and services to the education community consisting of the members of the Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation (OSSTF/FEESO), the Ontario English Catholic Teachers Association (OECTA), the Elementary Teachers Federation (ETFO) employee groups and some members of Ontario Universities and their family members.

We are looking for a **Corporate Services Administrator - Summer Student** to join our Corporate Services Team on a full-time basis for a period of approximately 4 months (May - August 2024) and assist with duties that include corporate governance, fund governance, expense management, and ad-hoc projects focusing on operational enhancements.

As a **Corporate Services Administrator - Summer Student**, you will ensure that a superior level of internal customer service is maintained. You will also support innovation to improve efficiencies and effectiveness and implement the required changes to help us achieve our near-term organizational and departmental goals and objectives.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

- Assisting with updating corporate policies and procedures
- Supporting the documentation and production of fund financial statements and Management Report on Fund Performance (“MRFP”)
- Aiding the Corporate Services Team with any regulatory requirements and related materials, as well as identifying, removing, and purging eligible corporate records
- Supporting with preparing journal entries, accrual entries and related financial statements, as well as with daily banking activities
- Updating monthly expense reporting, including variance analyses
- Supporting the production of both financial and non-financial metric reporting
- Assisting with miscellaneous other tasks, as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Student with minimum 2nd year active enrollment in a relevant post-secondary program (Business, Accounting, Finance) or a recent graduate
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Commitment to accuracy, thoroughness and timeliness
- Eagerness to continue to grow personally and professionally that is evident in on-going activities through utilization of self-learning initiatives and mediums
- Desire to exceed performance expectations by continually challenging oneself and “raising the bar”.
