The Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating a variety of programming opportunities for children & families, administrative duties, and will thrive in an environment that is different every day. Other duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following; processing receipts, coordinating staff work schedules and program plans, ordering supplies and tracking inventory, coordinating weekly themes and special events, completing program evaluations and recording registrations, coordinate with staff and volunteers to create positive learning experiences, review and update programs, working with school staff, custodial staff and City staff to discuss the use of facilities and equipment.

This position includes evenings and weekends with administrative tasks throughout the day.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Working knowledge of software programs including Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook and Publisher
- Experience working in the field of Recreation will be an asset.
- Must have excellent customer service & organizational skills.
- Strong communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills are essential.
- As a condition of employment, applicants must submit a Police Clearance Certificate (dated within the past 3months) from their local police service for approval by the Corporation prior to commencing employment.
- Must possess a current Standard First Aid Certificate with CPR Level C
- Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
- Possess a valid 'G' driver's license in good standing during the course of employment and have access to areliable personal vehicle.
- Skill testing may be required.

**WAGE/SALARY RANGE**: $18.74 to $23.42 per hour.
