**Alumni Partnerships Officer, Office of University Advancement**:
**Required Position**:
Full-Time Appointment

**Responsibilities**:
University Advancement builds meaningful relationships that will inspire our various

stakeholders to engage with and invest in Laurentian University. University Advancement

actively oversees relations with alumni, donors, and internal and external stakeholders to

establish a strong culture of pride, loyalty and engagement.

Working as part of a team to implement and support the objectives for the University Advancement department, this position reports to the Manager, Advancement and provides assistance with revenue-generating partnerships and database support for the management and staff of University Advancement.

**These activities include;**
- Primary liaison for revenue-generating efforts relating to alumni, including supporting affinity and other partnerships;
- Coordinates and attends external engagement initiatives and meetings with Alumni Members;
- Primary liaison for the Alumni Association Board and is responsible for, but not limited to, recording of minutes, following through on action items, scheduling board and committee meetings, and volunteer engagement;
- Supports the Alumni Relations Team and ensures prompt and efficient attention to all alumni inquiries;
- Coordinates framing program, including but not limited to, ordering of frames, sales, and deposits;
- Coordinates alumni component of Convocation;
- Tracks and reconciles budgets and funds as required;
- Performs other duties related to this position as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- University degree in a related field;
- 5 years of related experience;
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills;
- Must be enthusiastic, curteous, patient, and articulate;
- Strong attention to detail is required;
- Must possess strategic and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks;
- Comprehension of the budgetary process;
- Knowledge of Datatel as an asset;
- Ability to work fluently, oral and written, in both official languages, French and English;
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel.

The official University hours of operation shall be from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, during, and including, the months from September to April, and from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m Monday through Friday during and including May to August., amounting to thirty-three and three-quarter (33.75) hours per week.
