This opportunity is for an individual with both SAP experience in the Master Data Governance (MDG) Module and experience in the service industry most preferably in the public sector.

Responsibilities for the position include:

- Driving the development of functional and system specifications as it relates to the management of master data in complex ecosystems
- Conducting fit/gap analysis and business process modeling
- Configuring the software to business requirements
- Developing and executing tests to confirm the functionality
- Maintaining necessary documentation
- Actively performing knowledge transfer to clients
- Communicating in a team environment with clients and colleagues
- Providing support for deployment and sustainment as necessary
- Must be located on-site at IBM office in Bedford, NS or Calgary, Alberta
- Must be eligible or hold for Secret Clearance

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Minimum 5-7 years SAP implementation experience - ideally 3 full project lifecycles with key focus on master data management, creation, maintenance and distribution using the SAP MDG functionality
- Solid understanding of master data relationship and integration between key SAP modules including PM, MM, SD, FI/CO. CRM
- Experience in complex master data standardization and integration within the SAP solution part of a complex ecosystem.
- Experience in service industry where financial modules, service requests and equipment records functions are implemented
- Experience on large and longer term projects will be an asset
- Strong familiarity with SAP implementation methodologies, including ASAP
- Understanding of the new SAP Activate methodology would be an asset
- Secret Clearance Eligibility is a must
