Estimated Salary Range:$113,500-$149,000Job Description

As a Senior Data Governance Specialist supporting our TELUS Health initiative, you will be integral in driving the growth of our business while ensuring that all initiatives meet our rigorous privacy, security, and ethical standards. Your responsibilities will include providing expert advice and counsel to execute on our data commitments, educating and advising business units on existing or new data uses, and implementing emerging technologies related to data ethics and artificial intelligence.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in the privacy/data protection field, including functional knowledge of health information legislation.
  • 1-3 years of people management/team leadership experience.
  • Compelling communicator, persuasive storyteller, and big thinker (strategic, critical, and creative), effectively explaining data and privacy risks, initiative updates, etc., in writing, graphically, and verbally, for multi-level audiences.
