Front Desk Receptionist

Greet and Communicate with patients
- Handle scheduling for all medical services for providers
- Manage patient flow by directing patients to specific service areas
- Answer the phones calls, take messages, and return calls to all parties
- Front desk collections from patients and 3rd parties and interview patients to complete forms and documents for assessment.
- Insurance coding and billing
- Keeping track of accounts payable and receivable
- Daily bank deposits
- File patient information (statements, records) as needed.
- Create, Manage, and own a billing process
- Minimal end-of-day cleaning duties to determine and establish the office routine. (Involving laundry, trash removal, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning of surfaces).
- Minimal opening duties involving turning on computers, organizing files, keeping Therapist updated with calendar changes, open windows for fresh air if needed.
- Doctor or therapist/patient liaison. Medical Administrative Assistant for Doctor/therapist.
- Involve customers in the education process to help a patient stay on recommended treatment plans and encourage referrals of family and friends.
- Work with the Doctor/Therapist to set topics of the week for discussion, bulletin boards that stimulate questions from the patient, literature that they can take with them home, etc.
- Patient Education - being fully aware of the comprehensive services we offer (Physiotherapy, Acupuncture, Gunn IMS, Shockwave therapy, McKenzie method treatment, Orthotics, Compression Socks, Massage Therapy, etc.) and being able to intelligently educate the patients of our services
- Interviewing new staff and Managing clinic
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
