Working closely with the Dealer Principal, the Controller will be responsible for directing and managing the dealership’s accounting functions, including establishing practices, and procedures as well as the preparation of financial statements, and providing reporting to management. The Controller also maintains the company's accounting systems and implements changes as required.

Primary Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department
- Responsible for the overall financial reporting, planning, budgeting, and accounting practices
- Provide superior customer service to all operating departments (including Sales, Parts, and Service) within the Dealership
- Create, maintain, and monitor internal controls
- Oversee or perform tasks to ensure the financial functions are reconciled monthly including (but not limited to): cash, accounts receivables, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accounts payables, manufacturer statements, payroll administration, vehicle deal commissioning, intercompany accounts, benefit administration etc.
- Produce accurate monthly financial statements
- Collaborate with vendors and department managers to implement cost-saving and process improvement initiatives
- Provide financial analysis and input to Senior Management for forecasting purposes
- Coordinate the provision of information to Auditors, for Annual Reviews
- Ensure compliance of Provincial & Federal Government reporting requirements & tax filings

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- PBS Systems: 1 year (preferred)
- Accounting: 3 years (preferred)
