**Job Title: Facilities Supervisor**

**Position Summary**

**Major Responsibilities**
- Proactively provide the day-to-day support for building and facilities related operations including general office administration and management, compliance requirements, facilities and security management.
- Establish, update, and maintain standard procedures for facilities management based on a model of continuous improvement. Manages daily operations and site maintenance for activities like winter mats, air quality, AODA physical environment requirements, and manufacturing maintenance support as required among others.
- Manage office security, including access card management and managing physical security as a first point of contact for emergency calls.
- Develop and manage the building and facilities budget, identify opportunities for cost savings and productivity gains.
- Lead and/or support related environmental social and governance reporting and initiatives, working closely with the City of Toronto and other external stakeholders. Maintains up to date knowledge and manages legislative compliance with bi-laws and regulations related to building or equipment management or maintenance.
- A key member of the Joint Health and Safety Committee, providing expert input and hands on approach to the implementation of recommendations, and exhibiting a culture of safety and client support.
- Roll up your sleeves to tackle any situation as it arises, with strong focus on safety and employee engagement.
- Provide efficient resolution to employees and client requests.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**Skills and Experience**
- Post-secondary education in related field or FMP designation preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience focusing on workplace operations and/or in facilities management
- Experience with organizing service providers, and maintenance schedules
- Experience with environmental social and governance reporting and initiatives is an asset
- A working knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulation 851 (Industrial) and /or Regulation 213/91(Construction)
- Curious and fast learner approach to provide solutions and processes.
- Professional, assertive, and positive attitude and the willingness to take on manual and administrative work as this is a hands-on position
- A valid driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle
- Strong MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and computer literacy.
