**Administration Position**
Organization, communication and computer literacy (social media) are mandatory. Experience and knowledge in the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) is beneficial. Around 20 hours +
Mondays - Fridays between 3:00pm - 9:00pm
Saturdays between 10:00am - 4:00pm
*Potential for more hours and full time work
General
- Keeping the studio looking professional and clean (mínimal)
- Answering/ Returning calls
- Scheduling/ Reminding/ Preparing for new clients
- Edit exam videos (4 times a year) & upload on youtube
- Edit concert videos (this could require more work hours) after the Halloween/Christmas/Year End Concert & upload on youtube
- Upload Soundcloud
- Managing waitlist
- Decorate studio during Halloween and Christmas Season
- Prepare Exam Registrations (4 times a year) and Festival Registrations (1 time a year): Phase 1 & 2 (notify Teachers) and Phase 3 & 4 (notify Parents)
- Maintain accurate student and teacher attendance records
- Recording payments - cash & cheque
- Social media and content generation (use of canva or photoshop possibly)
- Keeping a up - to - date inventory list for materials, office supplies, washroom supplies, and cleaning supplies
- Halloween & Valentine Candy for all students on the week of Halloween/Valentine
- Halloween and Christmas Goody Bags
- Sticker/ Stationary Supply
- Managing book invoices (sending invoices, sending reminders, accepting and recording payments, match payments with invoices)
- giving out and organizing books to teachers
- reminding teachers of upcoming book order deadline (last weekend of the month is when we purchase books)
- Schedule and plan Halloween, Christmas, and Year end Recitals
- Songlists from Teachers
- Finalizing Programs
What we are looking for:
- A friendly and positive person
- Able to work on a Mac computer (advanced knowledge is not required)
- Experience and knowledge in RCM is beneficial, and/or learning an instrument in the past
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to manage people
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Dependable/reliable/trustworthy
- Attention to details
- Resolve or diffuse student and parent problems and complaints
- must be able to work weeknights and weekends (a couple times a year)
**Job Types**: Part-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 16-20 per week
**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour
