IT Desktop Support

The Desktop Support will help the IT department with various support related tasks. This could include but not limited to, setting up/configuring computers, setting up employee desks with necessary IT equipment, relocating equipment and handling day-to-day tasks, calls, and support tickets.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist in providing day-to-day IT support across all company branches
- Assist in administrating IT hardware and maintaining inventory of stock
- Support and troubleshoot IT infrastructure which includes: workstations, laptops, hardware, software, servers, printers, networking, remote access, connectivity and VOIP
- Troubleshooting issues in the boardroom, before/during any meetings
- Ensuring requests and issues are resolved in a timely manner with great customer satisfaction
by providing the best solution for our employees
- Onboarding new employees, preparing necessary hardware and software
Assigning credentials, assigning roles and granting access to approved systems
- Participate in team-based project initiatives as required
- Other IT operational tasks, projects and change initiatives as assigned
- Provide suggestions for continual improvement
**Skills/Competencies**:
- Manage and update IT inventory into the database
- Good knowledge of PC Hardware and Software
Microsoft Office 365 Apps
- Document problems and resolutions as they occur
- Ability to multi-task in a multi-office/location organization and problem-solve while maintaining flexibility in a fast paced and deadline-based environment
- Demonstrated hardware/software troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lift computer related equipment (Up to 50 Lbs)
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
- Customer service focus - technically oriented while maintaining the ability to positively interact with non-technical clients
- Strong organization and management of priorities
- Follow IT department policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring compliance with security protocols and data protection regulations.
**Requirements**:
- Post-secondary studies in Network Technology, Information Technology, Computer Science is an asset
