**The Opportunity**
The **Claims Care Manager** is responsible for ensuring all client insurance claims are reported to the insurance companies within the specified time frame for all our locations in an efficient and prompt manner.
Manages staff and steps in to resolve complex/challenging problems and ease workloads during periods of peak volume. Assist in developing and implementing new workflow approaches and methods, as well as system enhancements. Will be required to intervene as a client advocate with carriers to ensure fair and proper coverage. Will act as required as the liaison between claims department and producers/customer service. Has a solid understanding of claims processing, information technology and the insurance brokerage business.
- Full-Time career working out of our Winnipeg Head Office location.
**What you will bring to the role -**
- Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent is required.
- Minimum Level 2 license preferred; working towards or has acquired their CIP (Chartered Insurance Professional) designation, or equivalent.
- 7-10 years’ experience in the insurance industry.
- 7-10 years’ experience in providing superior customer service.
- Motivated to help support a diverse team and contribute to a team environment.
- Pro-active and a self-starter with a keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectivity in both written and verbal.
- Works well in a fast paced, client-focused environment.
- Proficiency in windows-based computer systems.
