This position will be based out of our **Halifax Branch** (25 Neptune Crescent, Dartmouth, NS B2Y 4P9), reporting to the Regional Architectural Metals Manager.

**A Day in The Life**
- Manage and maintain budgets and schedules
- Confer with and direct supervisory personnel and subcontractors
- Engage in planning and executing work procedures; interpret specifications, coordinate various phases of construction to prevent delays, and review change orders to ensure additional work is properly completed
- Inspect work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and adheres to construction schedules
- Inspect job sites to ensure all safety documentation and proper safe work procedures are being followed
- Confer with fellow Project Managers, field staff, inspectors, and suppliers of tools and materials to resolve construction problems and improve construction methods.
- Consult with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve issues

**What We Are Seeking**
- 3-5 years’ experience as a Project Manager in a Construction environment
- Experience working with architectural panels and other rain screen products
- Experience with curtain wall / glazing systems, roofing & waterproofing is considered an asset
- Education in a civil engineering / building science program or a related educational field
- Proficiency in MS office package, including MS Project
- Highly motivated with strong organizational, analytical, problem solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a team environment
