**About Marine Thinking**

Marine Thinking is seeking an individual looking to join an agile, dynamic, and motivated team in the ocean artificial intelligence (AI) and robotic technology industry. Our technology aims to help protect the environment by supporting the sustainable development of the marine industry. The Project Manager will oversee the organization's various projects and seek/seize future project opportunities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage ocean technology product projects, including project planning, budgeting, and implementation.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to a high-quality standard.
- Collaborate with team members to oversee and coordinate project progress.
- Analyze project risks, develop a risk management plan, and execute the plan throughout the project lifecycle.
- Define project scope & objectives and manage & control project scope throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, research & development, testing, and marketing teams, to ensure project objectives are met.
- Communicate as needed with customers and suppliers and ensure effective communication between project teams and stakeholders.
- Continuously evaluate project progress, and report status, issues, and solutions to the team and management.
- Document lessons learnt for continuous improvement.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of project management experience, especially related to ocean technology products.
- Proficient in project management tools and methodologies, such a s project planning, risk, scope, and quality management.
- Ability to manage complex cross-functional teams and maintain good relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, and ability to effectively communicate information between the project teams and management.
- Strong leadership skills, and ability to inspire team members’ work enthusiasm and manage daily affairs.
- Familiarity with ocean field technologies and trends, and ability to work with the team to solve technical problems and challenges.
- Ability to handle pressure and solve problems and maintain flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment.

**Additional Assets**:

- A background in the marine technology industry and access to relevant resources in Halifax.
- PMP Certificate, although not required.
