**Veolia Water Technologies and solutions offers its customers temporary mobile water & wastewater solutions. Our comprehensive mobile fleet is engineered and manufactured by Veolia at our plants in North America, Europe and Asia**

**Key Characteristics.**

**The VWTS Mobile Fleet Procurement Lead is part of the Fleet Project team and is responsible for spear-heading Procurement related tasks, from Strategy to project execution for mobile fleet manufacturing in NAM, Europe and Asia. He/She is in charge of coordinating with the key Procurement functions, Category and fulfillment teams. He/She reports into Veolia WTS’ Service Procurement Strategy Leader**

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- **Defines and executes the external supply chain strategy with the stakeholders in accordance with the project requirements and planning**
- **Develop the external supply chain plan focused on the project strategy, schedule, budget, savings and quality targets along with any other necessary information from the external supply chain for the project**
- **Coordinates with Category Managers to identify critical and strategic suppliers as well as working to develop new suppliers and alternative sources of materials and/or raw materials, aiming for high quality and low cost of products**
- **Is the main Procurement Point of Contact for the Project team for all Procurement related topics.**
- **Summarizes the external supply chain activities for the project. Reviews with stakeholders and functional management the project external supply chain budget, external supply chain risk & opportunities matrix, and ensures the progress & updates related to part deliveries**
- **Provide financial and execution reports to project and procurement management teams**

**Hard Skills**
- **3 years of experience in a procurement or program management position**
- **ERP experience required, preferably with SAP**

- **Demonstrated leadership and communication skills with the ability to perform in a matrix driven environment, across functions, with internal partners and suppliers**
- **Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills**
- **Strong oral and written communication skills**
- **Strong interpersonal and leadership skills**
- **Must show a high level of initiative**
- **Strategic: Gets the big game. Understands long term. Respects short term but doesn’t get hung up in the noise.**
- **Flexible and adaptable to ever changing priorities**

**Education & Experience**

**Required**:

- **Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college**
- **5 years minimum experience in Purchasing, Production Control, Engineering, Product or Project management**

**Preferred (if applicable)**:

- **Experience in a multicultural environment is a plus**

**Working Conditions (Specify % of travel involved if applicable, physical conditions, interaction with any hazardous material, work environment, etc.)**
- **Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
