**We are Pomerleau. And you could be too.**

At Pomerleau, we fully understand that our mission is not only to create infrastructure or erect buildings, but to build communities. As a leader in the construction industry for nearly 60 years, we always aim to make a positive impact on the lives of the people we serve across Canada.

To do this, we do everything we can to listen to their needs, to never lose sight of the realities of tomorrow and to innovate in a more committed, more collaborative and more sustainable way. Together, this is how we redefine our practice - for the good of our profession and of future generations.

**What YOU Will Do**

As a Risk Specialist - Alternative Projects and Infrastructure at Pomerleau, you oversee the management of risks and opportunities for all APEX projects. Your role involves implementing tools and systems to identify, analyze, and quantify the risks associated with APEX projects. Additionally, you are responsible for producing reports detailing the project risk profile for the department.

- Develop detailed plans outlining the steps taken to identify and minimize risks and maximize opportunities for APEX projects.
- Assist proposal managers in building registers of key risks and opportunities that may have negative or positive impacts on project realization at the outset of the proposal process, and proceed with appropriate updates thereafter.
- Implement tools quantifying the probabilities of risks or opportunities for projects using recognized models such as Monte Carlo simulations.
- Contribute to determining the budgetary envelopes required to facilitate decision-making and the allocation of appropriate contingencies, thereby strengthening the ability to adhere to project costs and timelines.
- Play a key role in risk control by participating in the approval and internal review processes of APEX projects.
- Take responsibility for defining the risk profile of the APEX department.
- Support Pomerleau's risk and opportunity management initiatives by assisting in the implementation of appropriate tools, procedures, and systems.
- Report to the Director of Operations - Alternative Projects and be responsible for summarizing the major risks and opportunities of APEX projects to the Vice President - APEX Building and the Vice President - APEX Civil and Infrastructure.

**What YOU Will Bring**
