**TERM**:Full-time (FTE 1.0), Temporary position starting **immediately** for 12 months

**SALARY**:$39.00-$50.00 per hour, commensurate with skills and experience

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**

Under the general supervision of Drs. Pajer and Gardner, the Research Associate will:

- Independently organize manuscript preparation for reporting results of extant datasets
- Extract relevant research for the literature
- Conduct or supervise analyses of data using statistical methods as complicated as multilevel modeling
- Write and submit research manuscripts for peer-review
- Supervise one part-time research assistant in the above tasks
- Contribute to other knowledge translation activities, e.g., academic posters and oral presentations
- Assist with creation and/or modification of slides for presentations
- Perform other duties as assigned or directed to meet the goals and objectives of the initiative

**QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES**
- Master’s degree and minimum 2 years relevant experience (Essential)
- PhD (preferred)
- Experience in conducting research, analyzing data, and writing manuscripts for publication (Essential)
- Outstanding organizational, accountability and time-management skills (Essential)
- Understanding of project management processes and tools (Essential)
- Understanding of research design, procedures, guidelines, and standards governing (Essential) clinical research including Personal Health Information Protection Act
- Excellent computer skills, including MS Office, Adobe, and SharePoint (Essential)
- Competencies with programs such as SAS, R, or SPSS (Essential)
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and think critically (Essential)
- Demonstrated collegiality, professionalism and team skills (Essential)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Essential)
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset (preferred)
